This region is the birthplace of flamenco and Malaga is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon of passionate music and dance. Our Market, Tapas & Flamenco Tour has been designed for you to enjoy the best of all combined. Experience the mysteries, emotion and power of authentic flamenco firsthand!
We’ll get started with a brief introduction of the tour! Our licensed tour guide will give you a short summary about what it’s included and the timing.
After we see and explore our most commercial street, calle Larios, we’ll head to the market. This is what we call THE STOP, Atarazanas Market, a local food market inside a historical building from the second half of the XIX century. A wide selection of different tastings and tapas will be offered as Iberian ham, Manchego cheese, local fish from the bay of Malaga and delicious tinto de verano, the local version of Sangria. Inside the market we’ll share with you some interesting anecdotes and stories behind the stalls. After this immersion in the local culture we’ll head to our second eatery
Next up, you’ll sit down in a local tapas bar to enjoy delicious tapas and Spanish wine. A wide selection will be offered and you can pick two generous tapas per person. We will explain you how to order tapas in Spain and what it’s behind the tapas scene as well as how some of these delicious tapas are cooked. Be ready for surprises, we have a lot of them ready for you in this second stop!
Now you’re ready for the show after a fulfill tapas experience! We’ll slide into our reserved seats just a few steps away from the stage and you’ll experience 45 minutes of raw emotion communicated through traditional dance, guitar playing and singing
At the end of the tour, you’ll have done so much more than eaten tapas and seen a flamenco show, you’ll understand Malaga, and we bet it will have found a place in your heart ❤️
