Make reasonable care, we recommend:

• Before starting your trip make sure you take photocopies of your passport and credit cards.

• Keep your passport, credit cards, travel documents and money separately from each other. Do not carry all your money with you.  Use the safe deposit boxes in your hotel, they are free of charge  in most of them, and is one of the security measures hotels have, along with private access areas, with security locks.

• Keep such things in closed, if possible zipped pockets. Never carry an unclosed bag, and do not keep valuables of any kind in a satchel or backpack: if this is unavoidable, wear it on your front.
